TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The full review, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and tabtrade the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
