The Broker — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
